  • Items under $2500 can be sold using private sale; Item(s) totaling over $2500 require public bid
  • Public Notice Requirement
  • • • Post in any 3 public places for 2 weeks; OR,
      • Advertise in local paper 1x / week for 2 consecutive weeks
  • Sell property to the highest responsible bidder
  • Property having been previously offered for sale, for which no qualified bid was received, may be sold by private sale with no advertising
  • If property is of insufficient value to defray costs of arranging a sale, then items may be sold, donated or properly disposed of
