InterSchola will invoice the appropriate sales tax if required. All items picked up are subject to sales tax if the Buyer has no valid resale certificate or tax-exempt certification on file with InterSchola. Provision of a valid resale certificate or tax-exempt certification with payment will exempt buyers from sales tax. Sales tax may be waived if the item is shipped directly to an out of state destination by common carrier. Sales tax is based on the current sales tax rate in the city and state from where the item is purchased.
If full payment is not RECEIVED within three (3) calendar days of auction close for general merchandise and seven (7) calendar days for vehicles, InterSchola reserves the right to cancel the transaction and sell the item to another interested party. A $100 Cancellation Fee will be assessed upon cancellation and a Non-Paying Bidder alert will be filed with eBay. If this Cancellation Fee is not paid the buyer will be blocked from any future bidding with InterSchola.
Pick Up Location/Shipping Arrangements
Pick up location and/or shipping arrangements will be provided via email within one (1) business day of InterSchola being notified of Buyer's payment.
If you are unable to pick up this item on the date(s) provided in this listing PLEASE contact us BEFORE bidding to request attendance at a prescheduled back-up pickup day. No assurances can be made that InterSchola will be able to accommodate a schedule other than the one(s) published. If an alternative date is provided, then an additional pickup charge of $50 WILL BE assessed.
If pickup is NOT completed by the latest date provided, no guarantee can be made that the item will be protected and cancellation may be necessary. If the transaction is cancelled due to failure to pickup the item as scheduled, NO refund will be given. Further, per diem storage fees (up to 5% of selling price per day) may be assessed beginning on the final pickup date specified in the listing. In the event that InterSchola is successful in reselling the item to the next highest bidder then InterSchola MAY refund your payment-less $100 to cover our expenses AND less the difference in final sales price if lower than the original winning bid.
If shipping and handling are offered by InterSchola, the terms of proposed shipping and handling will be outlined in the Item Description and/or in the "Shipping, payment details and return policy" section of the eBay listing. A small handling fee will be included for packaging materials etc. over and above the calculated shipping costs. InterSchola may ship via FedEx, UPS, or United States Postal Service. Please note that InterSchola reserves the right to substitute an equivalent service from another carrier to better meet the needs of a particular situation.
If the items for sale are too large and/or heavy for the carriers listed above, the Item Description will state "Local Pick Up Only", "Local Pick Up Preferred", or "Freight Shipping."
All pickup/shipping arrangements must be made by the Winning Bidder in advance of the confirmed pick up day and in accordance with InterSchola's scheduled pick up calendar.
ALL handling, handling arrangements (e.g., crating/dismantling/hauling) and handling expenses will be solely the responsibility of the Buyer including special equipment required in the Pick Up Logistics and Handling section of the listing.
InterSchola may be able to provide the contact information of a third party logistics provider to assist the Buyer with freight shipment or crating/dismantling/hauling arrangements. A third party service such as www.cratersandfreighters.com may be used solely at the buyers expense.
If item is to be picked up by a 3rd party freight company, the representative MUST arrive within a 2 hour window of the time provided in this listing (i.e. pickup time is 12:00 noon - window may be 12:00 noon to 2 p.m.). If pickup is NOT completed by your contracted shipping company within this window, no guarantee can be made that the item will be protected and cancellation may be necessary. In order to finalize your freight carrier's pick up appointment, a completed Bill Of Lading (BOL) must be received by InterSchola at least two (2) business days prior to your scheduled pick up appointment.
All InterSchola auction items are sold "Used, As-Is." Because our items are sold largely on behalf of public school or public agency entities, InterSchola is NOT able to accept returns of items to our client locations or to accept possession of such items on their behalf. In the rare event that an item is received by a buyer and such item was described incorrectly, we request that the Buyer contact us immediately via the "Ask seller a question" link in the auction listing in the hope that we can adequately resolve the issue to your satisfaction before a decision is made with regard to feedback.
If you have inadvertently placed a bid or otherwise are unable to abide by terms of our listing, InterSchola will agree to cancel your transaction if contact with InterSchola is made within 36 hours of the original auction end date and time.
