Description: This is a 1979 GM Argosy Bus with 31,123 miles that was used for educational field trips at a college. The Compact Bus has lots of window and the inside is basicly bare. They had built two rows of raised wood structures to attach seats but the DMV insisted that the seats be welded to the frame as it was a school. So, the bus was used to carry equipment to field trip locations. It is automatic transmission and gas. GVWR is 14,500 lbs. There is a step that pulls out to enter the main door, but it needs some work. There is an auxillary battery compartment that was used to power inside electrical. There are dual tires in the rear. The drivers side inside tire on the rear dualies is flat and off the rim. Although this needs to be repaired, it is safe enough to drive a few miles to downtown where it can be repaired. Vehicle started right up without a jump and idle seemed fine.
